á la Riviera! Easter Sunday Brunch

As some of you may know I love Brunch and everytime I get the chance to have one 

among special friends I plan the whole thing. This time I chose a very nice hostal in the middle of the colonial zone in Santo Domingo 
called Nicolas De Ovando, which used to be a castle back in the 1500's.

My friends from Ela Design Studio and I had a really special afternoon, full of delicious food and great white wine.

For my outfit I decided to get inspired by the French Riviera fashion, which never fails for brunch: Striped shirt, classic wayfarers, spadrilles, basket clutch, chanel rouge lipstick, a cute hat and to make it less serious I added a print skirt.

Pal'mar Cien Por Ciento Dominicano

Pal'Mar is my new baby, as some of you may know I develop fashion identities thru creating their visual aesthetic as part of Glint-Trends blog. 

This emerging dominican brand Pal'Mar has a double meaning: 

Palms and going to the sea.

The brand was created by Shaula Montás; it sells handmade beach articles specially hats.

Each hat model is crafted by dominican artisans, with the finest sugarcane materials and in that way Shaula gives back to a community that most of the times doesn't have access to boutiques or social media.
Their objective is to create unique models with one hundred percent dominican materials and hands. The brand looks forward to engage in different collaborations with dominican apparel designers to launched different collections during the year.
I really loved this project because it's a brand that I trust in and also goes along with all the ResortWear I own and Love to use during my weekend getaways.
